- have accounts in both social settings;
- to carry out the procedure of binding them to each other.
You can do this directly from the application on your smartphone or through a computer, using the option of setting on Facebook. In order to get the accounts of data from the mobile device to work in a bunch, you need:
- Launch the Instagram application.
- Log in to the profile.
- Select the line "linked accounts" in the "Menu" tab.
After this operation, you should select the desired social network (in our case this is "Facebook") and enter registration information. The last step is to give permission to Insta to use the data.
The binding can be done directly from the FB account. For this you need:
- Enter the settings section.
- Select Instagram.
- Click the "Login" button.
- Maintain account data from the page in Insta.

To create an advertisement, you need:
- enter the FB account, click the arrow icon in the upper right corner of the page;
- from the drop-down list select the section "Manage ads";
After this procedure, the program will offer to register in the business manager. Follow the registration procedure and enter the Ads Manager menu (three horizontal bars in the upper left corner of the window).
- in the interface of the manager, click the button "Create an announcement";
- Next, in the left column, the manager will offer to create a campaign and the purpose of the advertising campaign.
Important! In the "Purpose" section there are 3 categories. Selecting a category and hovering over the target, a tooltip will appear, indicating what it means. For example, to display your advertising to the maximum number of users, you need to select "Coverage", then enter the name of the advertising campaign and specify (if necessary) additional data requested by the manager.
- after all operations, click "Continue". The manager will transfer you to the page with the "Ad groups" setting, where you will need to enter a name (preferably recognizable and unique) that will be displayed in notifications and statistics;
- Enter the address of the linked page in the Instagram in the corresponding field;
- perform the settings of the "audience" block, then click "Save";
- customize the placement (the place to display your advertisement). In this case, Instagram is interested. Leave a tick just opposite this site.
Important! If you want the ads to appear in the feeds of your audience (mentioned above), leave a checkmark next to "Tape". If you are interested in advertising in the block Story, then leave the designation opposite the "History".
After setting the date for displaying the advertisement, budget, click "Continue". Next, you can proceed to create the ad directly.
How to advertise in the Instagram via Facebook
To once and for all decide for yourself how to promote the Instagram account through the Facebook social network, you need to consider all the features of Ads Manager.
